Call for 50 Abstracts NGV 2010 Roma

The International Association for Natural Gas Vehicles (IANGV) and the Consorzio NGV System invite you to submit your abstract for the 12th Biennial NGV Conference & Exhibition. Fifty papers will be selected, 40 for oral presentation and 10 for poster sessions. Three papers will be judged in advance of the conference and awarded Best Papers’ prizes with the authors receiving complimentary delegate registration (courtesy of NGV Communications Group).

Abstracts may be submitted on any of the subjects shown below with preference given to those in keeping with the conference theme, Creating a Revolution in Transport.

Submission Guidelines

  • Number of words:  1,000 maximum for abstract
                                  20,000 maximum for paper
  • Maximum presentation time: 20 minutes (consideration will be given to longer presentations on application).
  • Papers: English only
  • Oral presentations may be in English or in Italian
  • Authors should indicate whether their paper has been published before. Submission of a paper indicates that the author expressly authorizes its publication by IANGV.

    • Heavy-Duty NG Applications
    • Industry Trends
    • Emissions, Global Warming
    • NG Sales Metering
    • NGV Standards and Regulations
    • Industry Safety
    • Alternative Vehicle Fuel Potentials (Biomethane, Hydrogen, HCNG, LNG, CNG, Hybrid)
  • Commercial or promotional papers will not be accepted
  • The Technical Committee will contact authors to inform them if their abstracts have been approved either for oral or poster presentation.
  • Country Reports will also be presented at NGV 2010 using a fixed format determined and supplied by IANGV. Reports will be presented together on a regional basis, with presenters each having twelve minutes to present information on history, Government policy, infrastructure development and plans, aftermarket conversion status, OEM vehicle availability, standards and regulations, industry trends, barriers to growth and future prospects. Each regional session will conclude with an interactive live SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities & Threats) analysis to give delegates an insight into local prospects. Presenters of Country Reports will be predominantly invited but anyone wishing to be considered as a presenter is welcome to submit their details for consideration.
