will take place in Italy

The biennial International NGV Association event is the most important natural gas for transport meeting: the eagerly awaited moment when, every two years, the whole methane for transport industry and related institutions meet under the same roof.
For the 1st time ever, hosted by the Association of Natural Gas Industry for Transport, Consorzio NGV System Italia (www.ngvsystem.com) and with ENI as Main Supporter, on next 8-10 June 2010,the event will be held in Italy, first European NGV market and world’s number one in OEM NGVs. Italy has historical tradition and a powerful industry, with over 70 years of existence in the natural gas for vehicles segment: it possesses a domestic demand that is receptive to changes and innovations whereas its products are exported worldwide.
In view of the financial crisis, the use of conventional fuel decreased while NGV proved to be a real option. 2008 was a year of extraordinary results for the sector and 2009 confirmed that trend: +6% of all vehicles sold in the country are CNG-driven.
NGV 2010 Roma, says Vanni Cappellato, the President of NGV System Italia, is an ideal occasion for acting on the present and reflecting on the future, for understanding new markets, expanding the network of business contacts, drawing attention on our products and services.
The Conferences will be held by the major experts nationally and globally within the sector, coming from the technical and institutional fields.
The exhibition and the conferences will take place in the most important exhibition site of the Italian capital, Nuova Fiera di Roma.
